Job location: Chembur, Mumbai.

We are looking for a COO reporting to MD in a leading MEP Projects and Multi-technical Services Company, Electromech Infraprojects Pvt Ltd.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

• Collaborate with the MD in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
• Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
• Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the MD
• Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
• Assume complete responsibility to ensure successful delivery of projects and that the organization is capable of meeting all project and client requirements
• Ensure technical expertise at all organisational levels is adequate and constantly upgraded in order to achieve revenue, profits, business development goals, etc.
• Assume a hands-on approach and maintain engagement with all sub-vendors and suppliers to enable timely and high quality of projects
• Ensure effective recruiting, on boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.
• Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
• Adhere to company, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary
• Maintain strong handle on cash flows of projects and assume P&L responsibility of projects as well
• Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders

 

Qualification & Preferred Skills:

• E. Electrical/ MBA with at least 10 – 12 years of experience with minimum 5 years of experience working in a Senior management role within the construction, MEP projects industry in India. Must have led multiple projects concurrently managing client expectations and meeting deadlines
• Age – 40 – 45 years
• Leadership skills, and personal integrity
• Strong understanding of commercials
• Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
• IT Skills – MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is preferred.
• Excellent in organising &documentation skill
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Ability to travel extensively and perform site visits
